Light – Love – Life is an artwork that light’s up when its dark.

Placed beneath the root is a flower growing out of the mud. Hidden inside is a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) which triggers two LED’s to pulsate initiated by a low light environment.

Licht- Liebe-Leben was the motto of J.G.Herder (1744-1803). He is addressing his spiritual relationship with god in this. In his life he was attempting to find a holistic humane pathway for humans in the German Enlightenment area. He was trying to match the new rationalism zeitgeist with spirituality through an “education for all” and a “life long learning” attitude.
