#86_car_park 🚗

This blog post is part of the Random Sampling Singapore project. The Project aims to sample 100 places on the island of Singapore over a one year period in order to gain an unbiased and holistic view of the city state.

End of June we borrowed a car on a car sharing platform and were driving through Singapore. Besides our beach and jungle trail destinations we headed for coordinate #86, a car park at Gain City in Ang Mo Kio.

Luckily exactly that car space was available. The car park concrete was incredible clean, so it was hard to find samples. Not even a cigarette butt was there. The only items I could find were 2 shredded plastic parts on this desert like floor.

The lighting was very interesting. It outshined all the areas of consumables, got reflected on the glossy and polished surfaces of the cars; in contrast to the absorbing night sky.

Artwork

I took some of the panorama pictures I made and pixelated them in a video software.

Afterwards I combined them into a collage.
